The Agricultural Business Research Institute (ABRI) has been the engine behind genetic progress in the cattle industry for more than 50 years. Today, ABRI data supports over 70 breed societies and 66 million recorded animals worldwide. The Opportunity
As an Agriculture Business Administrator, you will:
Receive and process data in ABRI systems and communicate with breeders on the results produced
Develop competence in the ABRI products and be able to provide assistance to breeders in their use of these products
Assist in the development and implementation of innovative procedures
Contribute to the development of BREEDPLAN-related technology
Provide consultative services to ABRI’s clients in Australia and overseas
Liaise with a range of stakeholders
Provide technical and scientific support to internal and external users
Assist with other services that ABRI provides to the beef breeding industry
Developing and maintaining a quality service through the consistent application of the ABRI’s standards and all applicable laws
About You
You are an experienced administrator with strengths in communication, problem solving, attention to detail and reliability. You will have a positive attitude towards learning and an interest in genetics or genomics as used in primary production.
